About Us

BELTON ENGINEERING INC., was founded by Lina Chtay, in association with David N. Mojica, in 2011. They teamed up, and laid out a plan to generate and found this company, aimed at creating an effective standardized program instituted to help reduce cost in engineering and construction, by simplifying design, establishing better communication with clients, and dedicating more funds to training and acquiring new technology. With a cumulative experience record of forty (40) years in the central Texas area, their transition to this company began in September of 2010. Having the advantage that their reputations of quality production remained intact, they set out to pick a location as close as possible to their professional history. Furthermore, the familiarity with the area allowed for more time dedicated to design, rather than infrastructure data collection.

Our History

In the years previous to this companies beginning, Ms. Chtay concentrated on maximizing her capabilities to perform all phases of civil engineering and additionally became a Certified Floodplain Manager.

The unique demands of our projects have led to a policy of extensive Owner/Agency communication and cooperation in order to accomplish project objectives. We the staff members have designed and provided construction management for many road projects ranging in size from minor storm drain inlet and roadway reparation in small neighborhoods to entire roadway systems involving interstate connectivity and residential master planning mixed with commercial development.

Our staff has also designed numerous utility projects systems including wastewater, and domestic water service. Our experiences with this company for the last few years have taken us into projects working for clients such as TxDot, City of Temple, Private commercial developers, residential developers, and the Veterans Administration (VA).
